Most directories are simply listings of skills and typically for ICT companies that means "we do everything"! The OxIT Competencies Database is designed to enable 3rd parties (suppliers) or other companies looking for your skills to have some real evidence that you can in fact deliver. A competency is defined as an "evidenced skill". "Evidence" may include Customer Endorsement, CV, Awards, Accreditation and Case Study.

OxIT believes this information provides 3rd parties with the just sort of information they need to evaluate potential suppliers and make an initial contact with confidence.
