RedKite wireless expands service.
- RedKite has been developed and launched by local Internet Service Provider, Community Internet plc and is delivered using the latest WiMAX-ready fixed-wireless technology. The company has built its own wireless network, which enables it to deliver RedKite in a matter of days across the city. RedKite also boasts 99.9% availability with a service level agreement and ongoing technical support as standard for all of its customers. The RedKite service has been extended today and now offers a range of 1-10Mbps symmetric speeds for its users. This high performance alternative to wired services means the end of having to compromise on bandwidth when choosing an Internet connection. Many businesses can now implement new business improvement strategies needing greater bandwidth including providing external access to information on their servers to third parties, home working and Voice over IP.
